ISLAMABAD: Indian legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly accepted invitation for paying visit to Pakistan by a renowned politician of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Shujaat.
A central leader of PML-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, sent invitation to the legendary actor renowned internationally, Amitabh Bachchan, to visit Pakistan, Pakistani media reported.
The actor replied positively to the politician via thanks-giving letter; saying ‘I would be delighted for being guest of Chaudhry brothers.’
Amitabh Bachchan accepted his invitation and vowed to visit Pakistan in near future, Dunya News reported.
It should be mentioned that Amitabh Bachchan’s aim came forward after his online interview aired on a Pakistani new channel Express News, in which he signalled his expected visit Pakistan but after getting formal invitation.
A number of Bollywood stars paid visits to Pakistan including Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Devya Dutta and Shabana Azmi on different occasions.
