It was a shock to hear the sad news about the death of a prominent TV personality, Chef Sara Riaz, who passed away this morning. Chef Sara Riaz had been appearing in cooking shows on ARY Zauq, politely demonstrating the recipes for the audience and nobody expected her to be suffering from a fatal disease such as cancer. Her death will be a biggest loss for her fans as she had helped people learn to cook and serve with delicious mouth watering recipes.

Sara Riaz had over 20 years of cooking experience and was a well-respected food expert. Her career took off when she began contributing recipes to Dawn. Her easy to follow recipes and personal charisma soon made her a prominent member of the local culinary community.“Her passing is a huge loss for the food industry,” said editor of food magazine Dalda ka Dastarkhwaan Shaheen Malik.”Sara Riaz trained an entire generation of chefs.”She hosted a popular show on ‘Zouq Zindagi’on ARY Zouq which spawned a huge network of fans online. In addition to this she appeared in various morning chows to discuss recipes and offer cooking advice. Her love of food extended beyond her shows. She ran a small training institute from her house in North Nazimabad as well.

Words seem inadequate to express the melancholy we feel about the sad demise of cooking expert Sara Riaz. She had been battling with breast cancer disease and was declared to be in critical condition last week. After a sever illness and struggle she passed away this morning (18th April,2014) in Karachi. Renowned chef, Sara Riaz, associated with ARY Zauq breathed her last on Thursday morning, whilst she was laid to rest here after the Friday prayers – ARY News reports.Sara Riaz was fighting against breast cancer and was at a hospital under precarious condition, since last week. She had no children and has left behind her husband.Sara had a cooking experience of over 20 years, apart from her recipes; she was loved by millions of fans nationwide and abroad for her kind nature.The renowned chef also appeared at various morning shows for imparting advice relating to healthy and delicious cooking. Sara had also set up a small training institute at her home located in North Nazimabad Town, where a number of girls used to visit her and learnt professional recipes.The renowned chef was widely acknowledged and profoundly loved by her friends and colleagues for her gentle and kind attitude.In the end, 'the body dies, but the love lives on. She continues to live in our hearts, and always will', may her soul rest in peace-amen.
