ECP to introduce electronic voting in 2018 elections - 29 April 2014

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced that it will develop electronic voting machine or biometric system till 2017.

The ECP has released a strategic plan for 2018 elections which says that biometric and electronic voting system will be developed till June 2017 while the delimitation of constituencies will be completed till December 2016.

While to facilitate overseas Pakistanis, a project will be completed till August 2015.
