ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar has said that government is likely to raise salaries of employees by 10% in budget 2014, media reported.
He was talking to media after chairing Economic Advisory Council (EAC) meeting held on Saturday.
PML-N led government will carry on Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) and required funds will be allocated for it.
EAC meeting discussed different aspects of Pakistan economy and attendees gave suggestions on various industries to boost income.
Right now the major focus of Pakistan exports is on textile and rice. It was recommended, in the meeting, to work on other export goods for more stabilized trade.
