On Friday 23 May 2014, King of the Ring- Amir Khan was blessed with a little angel. Amir himself tweeted “Faryal and I are delighted to announce the birth our first child Lamysa Khan everyone doing very well, thank you for all your wishes”. This name is of Arabic origin and its interpretation is “soft”. This month has indeed turned lucky for Amir as the former WBA and IBF light-welterweight champion won a tough fight against Luis Collazo in Las Vegas winning him $1.5 million(£890,000). He said after the birth of their daughter he would strive even harder so his daughter could be proud of him. He had earlier commented that he would let Faryal choose the name because the baby is a girl. The end of this month will also mark the first wedding anniversary for Amir and Faryal both. Well, all we can say is May is a month of blossoms for this lovely couple. Congrats to both of them.
