ISLAMABAD: The Mari Petroleum Company, working with Government and Fauji Foundation, on Monday announced the discovery of an extraordinary gas reserves in Sujawal, Sindh.
Gas reserves have been estimated to be approximately twenty billion cubic feet, in the newly found Sujawal district.
The company has declared this discovery ‘rare’ and ‘important’ as it is the first hydrocarbon finding in the Lower Goru Upper C-Sand in the southern part of the country.
As a result of this discovery, all the companies engaged in productive activities stand a higher chance of finding hydrocarbon in the region.
In addition to that, the potential discoveries of new deposits of natural resources in the region can be expected now.
