PONDICHERRY: A Pakistani studying in the Indian state university of Pondicherry was attacked by unknown elements and was beaten severely by the attackers.
The victim Ali Hassan Raza, while talking to a private TV channel said that he was attacked on 13th May by 3 unknown men who beat him with an iron rod. ‘
He was then shifted to the hospital where he received first aid and then went back to the hostel.
Ali Hassan said that Pakistan’s High Commissioner in India is fully cooperating with him.
Till the last reports, Ali Hassan’s condition has not improved.
While Ali Hassan Raza said that he is trying to come back to Pakistan.
Indian Police booked three unidentified people under sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 341
(punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement) and 448 (punishment for house-trespass) read with 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the IPC and launched a hunt for them.
