LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has ensured that China is ready to invest $25 billion in the energy sector of Pakistan while talking to media here on Thursday, media reported.
This help from China will enable Pakistan to overcome some of its energy crisis.
PM also reminded that the recently inaugurated units and Guddu and Uch power plant are part of bigger plan to eliminate the shortage of electricity.
He said the PML-N government is focusing on electricity issues and it will start improving soon.
He also added that his party did not give any time frame to resolve the electricity crisis in Pakistan.
PM is currently on his first official visit to the United Kingdom (UK) for three days on invitation from British Prime Minister David Cameron.
