ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has demanded a practical plan to reduce load-shedding hours in Pakistan from Water and Power Ministry, media reported.
PM conducted a meeting with Ministry of Water and Power officials including State Minister Abid Sher Ali, special assistant Musaddiq Malik and Secretary Saifullah Chatta.
He was clear in his demand of a doable plan which can help in reducing load-shedding hours.
PM also wanted a detailed report on people and organisations, who are involved in utilising electricity via illegal means.
Long hours of load-shedding have really added to the trouble of Pakistani citizens as the temperature has increased terribly throughout the country.
Urban centres in Pakistan suffers 12 hours load-shedding while rural areas are deprived of electricity for 16 hours a day.
