ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has left for 2-day official visit to Iran here on Sunday, media reported.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam, it will be Prime Minister’s first official visit to Iran after taking responsibility for the government.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by the Foreign Minister, Foreign Affairs Advisor, Petroleum Minister and Chief Minister of Balochistan.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister will have face-to-face meetings with Iran’s President Hassan Rohani during his visit to discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries and other important issues.
PM will also meet the senior religious clerics of Iran.
