WASHINGTON: Samsung officially unveiled another high end smartphone Samsung Galaxy S5 Active which has finally go in sale on AT&T.
The device has been rumored for long time and now device is finally official and goes on sale on AT&T. The Galaxy S5 Active as it expected, the device is slightly different with a more rugged feel than the original Galaxy S5 and is rated with IP67 for water and dust resistance and US Mil-STD 810G specification for shock, temperature, humidity, rain and altitude.
The carrier is charging $199.99 for the Ruby Red, Camo Green and Titanium Gray Galaxy S5 Active with two year contract.
The device lacks fingerprint scanner found on the Galaxy S5 and instead integrates a convenience key for Activity Zone that gives access to some features like compass, barometer, stopwatch and flash light.
While the other specs are pity similar that we find in Galaxy S5 which includes a Snapdragon 801 2.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 16 megapixel camera, 16GB memory with microSD card slot, 2800mAh battery and heart rate sensor.
