1) Blasphemy attempt by Shaista Wahidi:
This has to be on top of the list. playing manqabat ‘ Ali ke Saath hai Zahra ki Shaadi’ during the wedding reenactment of film Actress Veena Malik while the attendants at the event danced to it and continued with conducting Joota Chupai during the manqabat. People condemned Shaista for disrespecting Islamic personalities and hurting the sentiments of their followers. Shaista asked for apology that in not accepted and show is suspended.
2) Shaista's leaked Pictures:
This case has seen several twists and turns since her leaked controversial pictures. Social Media claimed her controversial pictures as her real face, those pictures are viral on different social media platforms especially on Facebook.Than Shaista spoke on her show that these pictures are real with her ex-husband and called this "Badneeati" and seeking justice from ALLAH.
3) Shaista Lodhi Divorce & Iddah Controversy:
Shaista Lodhi divorce and than sitting in Iddah become talk of town. Rumors of divorce was coming from months but she was avoiding to answer and when divorce finalised she confirmed in her show. Later we heard after the divorce, her relative told her to observe Iddat but she refused to do this. She was continue doing her morning show.After scholar and people criticism she decided to observe Iddah and take break from show.
4) Shaista Wahidi-Shakeel-ur-Rehman Controversy:
After divorce, rumors came that ‘Shaista is soon going to tie a knot with Mir Shakeel Ur Rehman, who is the co-owner of Geo TV. That bond was quite unpredictable as Shaista herself is 38 Years old (declared) mother of three children, On the other Hand, Mir Shakeel is also an aged man, and the bond is unmatchable in every aspect. But all rumors were false and dead by time. She is still single!!
5) Shaista- Nadia Cold War:
Two rivals cannot be friends for long, that was proved Shaista and Naida Khan had not in good relations with each other. The reason obviously is the competition. Nadia Khan also claimed Shaista replaced her Geo tv with conspiracy and Shaista copied her style. Nadia make fun of Sahir Lodhi to infuriate Shaista or it is the issue of interrupting their guests, the trend is being copied by hosts of other TV channels and both of them are the trendsetters.
