KARACHI: A three-member snatcher gang who raped women during dacoities in the metropolis has been arrested by the law enforcement agencies in Karachi on Tuesday.
Karachi police also claimed to arrest an alleged terrorist named as Zaheer during targeted raids that renowned as terror symbol in Korangi area in the metropolis.
Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) East Pir Muhammad Shah told local media that the three-member group had sexually abused at least five women after snatching their assets and wanted in more than 40 robbery cases.
According to police, the alleged dacoits were identified as Talat alias Shikari, Haris alias Sheda and Kashif, whereas, the law enforcement agency conducted raids another renowned group comprising of 11 members involved in various incidents of gang rape since 2010.
During the press conference in Karachi, the senior police official detailed that an alleged most wanted terrorist of Korangi’s Bilal Colony has been arrested during a raid who was involved several dacoity cases in the industrial area.
Moreover, Karachi police also arrested a robber named as Chota Munna and a criminal who subsequently claimed responsibility of police official killing was detained from Pehelwan Goth area of the metropolis.
