ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s federal government on Monday ordered two Indian journalists to leave the country after visa tenure ending on May 20, reports said.
The Indian journalists who were officially asked to leave Pakistan include correspondents of Press Trust of India’s Snehesh Alex Philip and The Hindu’s Mina Menan, Express News reported.
Pakistani authorities refused the visa renewal requests sent by the Indian journalists on May 13 and asked to leave the country via written letter by Ministry of Information.
The report quoted a senior foreign office sources that the move for visa extension refusal was made after their ‘unfriendly activities’ in Pakistan.
