MANSEHRA: A loaded passenger bus fell into a ravine here on Saturday killing five people while 30 others sustained severe injuries.
A speeding passenger bus lost control and ended up in a ravine near Gandhian area of Mansehra district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to media reports, few army personnel also became victim of the accident as they were going to Skardu for their duty.
According to witnesses, the accident occurred due to the speed of the vehicle.
After the accident, locals shifted the dead bodies to Shah Abdullah Tadreese Hospital and the injured were taken to hospitals in Mansehra and Abbottabad.
Two of the dead passengers have been identified as army soldiers, namely, Jafar Hussain and Abdul Karim.
The bus was scheduled to reach Skardu from Rawalpindi.
