You know how sometimes one track is so good, you just want to hit that replay button again & again. That’d be 90’s for us! Right 90’s gave us the golden period of Pakistani-pop that still gives us the goosebumps. While some singers have advanced to achieve greater musical heights today, some have vanished never to be heard again.Whichever way, we truly enjoyed their music & though we might not have them in our playlist today, we do a little cheat code once in a while! Pakistani pop forever!!

Dil Dil Pakistan… was an instant hit. It was a lethal combo of Junaid Jamshed’s vocals & Shoaib Mansoor’s music and awesome video. It was a total package & we gave it a place in our hearts instantly.
Junoon
The very likeable Junoon came with an even more likeable pop tart with ‘Hai Jazba Junoon.’ The song was a super hit & they were catapulted instantly into Jazz-pop stardom.
Awaz
This was Haroon and Fakhir’s group and thier first single was awsome Jado ka Chiragh, we love this song for the trio: Haroon and fakhir’s voice, Soulful music & soft vocals brought them immense popularity.
Ibrar ul Haq
What’s a pop scene without some much needed Bhangra relief! Who can forget his lively, foot tapping numbers? Give it up for The Bhangra legend.

Fakhar-e-Alam
A pop scene staple, a wacky combination of crazy lyrics & even crazier singing.
Sajjad Ali
The beautiful, haunting voice of Sajjad Ali was first introduced to the world through ‘babay’. Sajjad is a prominent Pakistani singer now but no forgetting, he like many others, had pop beginnings.
Najam Sheraz
The soft husky voice of Najam can never be forgotten. Ever.
Shehzad Roy
Roy sums up talent & good genes. A singer for all ages, we absolutely miss his lovely numbers & wish he cuts out an album soon.
