MUMBAI: Shilpa Shetty has donated her eyes to “Yashwant Samajik Pratisthan”, a welfare organisation, on her 34th birthday in order to give someone the joy of sight after her death.
Her younger sister, Shamita Shetty has also donated her eyes to same organization.
Shilpa became a worldwide sensation after participating and winning a reality show called ‘Big Brother’. Her Bollywood career is not filled with too many hit movies or outstanding performances but she is still considered as one of the most popular actress in India.
Lately, Shilpa has been in the limelight for Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rajhasthan Royals and as a judge on dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye’.
