Khoobsurat first look: Fawad Khan royal misfit!

The makers of Fawad Khan upcoming film Khoobsurat have come up with the first poster of the film, that shows a funky girl’s legs (our guess, it’s Sonam Kapoor). Funky sneakers, polka dotted jeans and a bag in her hand and loads of accessories on her wrists, with no face shown the makers decided to promote this first look as a ‘teaser poster’. Anil Kapoor’s beti is out to reprise the role portrayed by the yesteryear diva in the 1980 film.

Khoobsurat is the remake of the 1980 film of the same name starring Rekha. The remake has been in the making for quite some time and with Walt Disney, UTV Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Film Company collaborating for this one, it is surely something to watch out for. The film also features Fawad Khan, Kirron Kher, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ratna Pathak and Aamir Raza Hussain. Anil Kapoor’s beti’s last film Bewakoofiyaan bombed at the box-office, but we hope this one will bring her back with a bang.

The film directed by Shashanka Ghosh, is a romantic comedy, which will have the same story as the Rekha starrer but with the new-age tadka. The film is set to release on September 19 this year, and goes with the tagline “the royal misfit”.
