Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Randeep Hooda starrer Kick directed by Sajid Nadiadwala is going rock steady at the box office. In the first three days itself the film ended up minting Rs 83.73 crore. And now its total collection at the Indian box office has reached a staggering Rs 126.89 crore. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “#Kick 5-day total stands at Rs 126.89 cr nett. India biz. FANTASTIC.” After passing the Monday test, yesterday the action flick raked Rs 28.89 crore nett at the domestic BO. That’s not all! Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut is also the highest grosser of 2014 till now. Adarsh further tweeted, “In just 5 days, #Kick is now the HIGHEST GROSSER of 2014 *so far*.” That’s indeed commendable, hai na?
Since there is no film releasing this week, we are pretty sure Kick will continue to rake in big moolah in the coming days as well. Salman Khan’s film is already inching towards to Rs 150 crore but will surpass Ek Tha Tiger‘s domestic box office collection which stands at Rs 198 crore? Let’s wait and watch!
