BELO HORIZONTE: Mirolsav Klose became the World Cup’s all-time top scorer on Tuesday scoring in Germany’s apparent rout of Brazil to take his goal tally in the tournament to 16.
The 36-year-old Lazio striker had drawn level with Brazil’s Ronaldo on 15 in Germany’s 2-2 first round draw with Ghana.
And he claimed the record outright when scoring in the 22nd minute in the semi-final in Belo Horizonte against Brazil.
