Chetan Bhagat’s next novel Half Girlfriend will be out in October. The talented writer took to Twitter to announce his new novel and also shared a short video of the same. He wrote, “Hi all! Happy to announce my next book titled Half Girlfriend.” But what is Bhagat’s latest offering all about? The 40-year-old author further tweeted, “English is the new caste system. Half Girlfriend explores this aspect of our society today.” Sounds interesting, hai na? But what’s even more interesting is that fans can now read the first chapter of Chetan’s new novel on his Facebook page. The investment banker-turned-novelist posted on Twitter the link of his FB page and wrote, “Okay, so you can read the first chapter of #Half Girlfriend.”
Currently, Chetan Bhagat is riding high on the success of Salman Khan-JacquelineFernandez starrer Kick whose script he co-wrote along with director Sajid Nadiadwala, Rajat Arora and Keith Gomes. His last novel Revolution 2020 released in 2011 and is being adapted on the screen.
