The Vishnu Manchu starrer film will release this Independence day
After making heads turn with his new distribution model for films, Ram Gopal Varma strikes Tollywood with the trailer of his next film with Vishnu Manchu in the lead. The film titled Anukshanam will hit the screens on August 15. Within three months of Rowdy‘s release, RGV and Vishnu Manchu have again teamed up for a psycho killer flick.
Anukshanam stars an ensemble cast comprising of Revathi, Brahmanandam, Tejasvi Madivada, Navdeep and Vishnu Manchu. Here is what we liked about the trailer of Ramu’s latest flick:
After dishing out a disastrous Ice Cream, Ram Gopal Varma seems to have given priority to the content of the film than the technology. The trailer has all the elements that you would expect in a psycho killer film, but still manages to intrigue the viewers.
Ramu has avoided mingling thriller with romance or drama, which many our Indian thriller films tend to do. After watching the trailer, one could expect an out and out psycho killer suspense that is crisp and entertaining.
The film seems to be on the lines of Korean slasher film I Saw The Devil and the latest Hindi blockbuster Ek Villain. It will be interesting to see if RGV’s flick is based on the films mentioned above.
The film boasts a barrage of good actors like Revathi, Brahmanandam and Tejasvi Madivada, but the trailer belongs to Vishnu Manchu who does a commendable job as a police officer in pursuit of the serial killer.
