The latest song from Aditya Chopra’s romantic comedy is the black sheep of the album
The Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti starrer, Daawat-e-Ishq, has come out with a new song from the movie. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Wajid and composed by Sajid-Wajid, the song is a peppy number with a simple, hummable tune.
It starts with engaging dhol beats and creates a chirpy vibe with brightly dressed dancers and animated steps. Parineeti and Aditya, actually seem to have enjoyed doing the song. Their energy level promises the song to be a good entertainer. But the lyrics, given by Kausar Munir, bring down the overall charm of the song.
Though the song is not a complete disappointment, it definitely is a letdown in comparison to the rest of the album. Check it out for youself…
