The Kick actor can’t be lazy on the sets of his film and he reveals why…
After enjoying the success of his latest film Kick for a while, Randeep Hooda is back to business. He is awaiting the release of his controversial film Rang Rasiya which got into trouble with the censors for its depiction of nudity and love-making. But he is also working on Deepa Mehta’s upcoming project Inland, which is now titled Beeba Boys.
Randeep is working with a foreign team in Canada and is extremely psyched about working for the Oscar nominated director, Mehta.
About his task-master director, Randeep says, “Deepa’s a rockstar, she keeps me on my toes. If any laziness has crept in over time, you gotta banish it.” Talking about the film Beeba Boys, he says, “It’s about the journey of a man, a Jatt Sikh called Jeet Johar. It’s a hero’s role, larger than life, yet grounded, with heart and soul.”
Hooda says that the success of Kick hasn’t sunk in yet but he expects it to bear fruit for his upcoming films as he expects that the audience have noticed his work in the film.
