After Holiday, Akki seems to have delivered yet another hit. Guess the Khiladi is on a roll this year…
Akshay Kumar’s slapstick comedy Entertainment co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Krushna Abhishek has managed to pull in crowds to the theaters. The comic caper hit the screens on August 8 and got off to a decent start. However, on Sunday the collections went up and Sajid-Farhad’s directorial venture ended up collecting Rs 36.69 crore nett in the opening weekend. Since then the film has continued to fare well at the ticket windows. In fact, it has already crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the Indian box office. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “#Entertainment Fri 11.16 cr, Sat 11.53 cr, Sun 14 cr, Mon 7 cr, Tue 5.13 cr, Wed 4.12 cr. Total – 52.94 cr nett. India biz. STEADY.”
Akshay-Tamannaah starrer has got cash registers ringing so far but the scenario won’t be the same in the coming days because Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Singham Returns will be releasing this week.Subscribe to me on YouTube
