While the nation is gripped in fervour of Ganesh Utsav festivities, even our B-town celebs have jumped into the bandwagon of celebrations as people welcome Ganpathy to their homes. But terrific dancer Prabhu Deva not only took part in celebrations, but also advocated for a pollution free festivities with eco friendly Ganesh idols.
The actor turned director graced an eco friendly Ganesh Chaturthi event with his presence here in Andheri. By taking part in the event, the filmmaker has taken a firm stand against non-biodegradable or toxic materials used in making the idols which inturn leads to water pollution when the idols are submerged during the Visarjan.
