8 days to go for the Happy New Year trailer launch…
Farah Khan‘s Happy New Year has been in the making for the most part of this year. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah, this film has created a huge buzz since a long time. The much awaited trailer is set to release eight days from now, on August 14. And here are eight reasons why we are desperately waiting for its release:
-Shah Rukh and Deepika are coming back together after their superhit Chennai Express, which broke all records. We are keen on seeing the couple rock the silver screen again.
-Shah Rukh and Abhishek haven’t shared screen space since Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. An interesting Jodi. We’d like to see them come together.
-The movie poses to be about a robbery. Given the success of Kick and the Dhoom series, it is obvious that the audience has a taste for action.
-Farah and Shah Rukh are coming back after 7 years. Their movies together worked wonders at the box office and we expect this one would be no different.
-Boman Irani will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh, Deepika and Abhishek. His previous films with these actors have been hits (Don series, Cocktail, Dostana)
-Vivaan is coming back to the big screen after a wonderful performance in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Saath Khoon Maaf. Being Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah’s son, there is always something big expected from him.
-Sonu Sood’ coming back to Hindi films after his last year superhit R…Rajkumar is refreshing. He has three big releases this year-Akshay Kumar’s Entertainment, Shah Rukh’s Happy New Year and Ajay Devgn’s Action Jackson.
-Anupam Kher is playing a cameo in the film and rumours are afloat that he will be playing father to Shah Rukh. They have played father and son for many a times since Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaaenge, and the last they were seen in the same avatar was in Akshay Kumar’s Heyy Babyy. We expect the duo to create some sparks once again.
