Salman is all set to whiz ahead of Aamir. Read on to find out more…
As you will already know, Kick crossed over to the Rs 200 crore mark at the domestic box office recently thereby becoming Salman Khan’s first film to enter the super exclusive club. And the Dabangg Khan is all set to break another record, it seems. Yes, Kick, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Sidddiqui is all set to whiz ahead of Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3, as far as the business of single screen theatres is concerned.
While Dhoom:3 made around Rs 85 crore nett lifetime in single screens, Kick, which raked approximately Rs 56 crore nett in the first week might finish in the Rs 80-90 crore nett range, says a report on a portal.
If it does, frankly, we won’t be surprised at all. Be it Ek Tha Tiger or Dabangg or Wanted, we all know that Salman’s films, often the typical Bollywood masala entertainers, have been popular at single screen theatres. Many of you might know this, but the Jai Ho actor considers single screens very lucky for him and therefore launches the trailer of all his films at Gaiety Galaxy, Bandra.
