The actor was seen talking about the society’s mental fixations regarding women and the need for change
Rani Mukerji has been missing from the silver screen since a while now.
But the Bong beauty is all set to come bag with a bang, literally in this case as her upcoming film is an action drama, titled Mardaani.
The Bunty Aur Babli star was seen at the launch of the Mardaani anthem wearing a white shirt and blazer with black pants. She tied her hair in a high ponytail and wore a dark maroon shade on her lips. Though we appreciate Rani’s attempt at pulling off a different look as oppsoed to her signature style anarkali’s and sarees, the attire she donned failed to create a mark with the blazer making her look sloppy and the high ponytail not working wonders for her either.
The Mardaani actor was seen talking about women empowerment and the need to bring about a change in the society’s mentality regarding women. Rani while talking about women centric roles in films, made an impactful statement saying, “Let’s not call a film women centric. When males act in films, we don’t call them male centric. Let’s just call it a good film or a bad film.”
Well she may not have created much of an impression with her avatar at the event, but the bong beauty surely knew how to create one with her wisdomous words! Mardaani is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and will hit the theatres on August 22.
