Revealed: Saif Ali Khan’s new fitness regime for Phantom

Saif hits the gym after eight years for his stunts and action scenes for Kabir Khan’s next

After Shah Rukh Khan, Amir Khan, Ajay Devgn, it’s Saif Ali Khan who’s all set to join the 6-pack league. The Cocktail actor had given up on heavy gymming completely post his heart attack in 2007 and has adapted a healthy lifestyle since then. But now the Nawab has geared up and started a new physical training regime in full swing for Kabir Khan’s Phantom opposite Katrina Kaif.

A source close to the actor revealed, “Apart from focusing on a high protein diet and hitting the gym, Saif has been travelling around with his physical trainer in tow. When the Phantom crew was shooting abroad, he paid for the accommodation of his trainer and made sure he was by his side at all times.”

A lot of this new lifestyle can be credited to his fitness freak better half, Kareena Kapoor , who is bound to be tied in knots over hubby’s health. Bebo has raised concerns about this new regime and is backed by Singham Returns co-star, Ajay Devgan. To this the source added, “Ajay and Saif have known each other for years. It’s only natural for them to exchange notes. Ajay has been instrumental in getting Saif back in action and in shape”.
