The actor might be busy with his own films but he plans to pay a tribute to his father
Not so long time ago, Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that Saif Ali Khan plans to make a movie on his father, late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. Now we hear that the Phantom actor is looking out for a writer to pen down the script. While Saif was unavailable to comment on this, a source close to him revealed, “Saif wants to make this film as a tribute to his dad. It’s his dream, but the priority is to get the right team to work on this project. Things will begin as soon as Saif gets a good writer to start working on the script.”
In an earlier interview, when Saif was asked if he would make a film on his dad’s life, he’d said, “Not right away, but maybe someday. It’ll be an English film. Not Hollywood, but filmed as much in England as in India and set in the’60s when my father was in his 20s. It is a story of a Prince who loses his father on his 11th birthday, loses his title in 1971, loses an eye just when his cricketing career is blossoming in England, yet goes on to become the youngest Indian Test captain and marries a Bollywood heartthrob.”
Well, we hope the Humshakals actor finds a good writer soon and begins working on the tribute to his father…
