The actor was recently shooting for a song called Maa Ka Phone
Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan recently shot for the Khoobsurat song, Maa Ka Phone. After Hrs was present and caught the actors in candid moments. Here is a sneak peak.
However, she is only mouthing the song in the video and hasn’t lent her voice to Maa Ka Phone. Talking about the song, Sonam says, “I have this special ringtone for every time my mother Manju (Kirron Kher) calls me and it goes Ma Ka Phone Ma Ka Phone on loop. We liked the ringtone so much that we thought of weaving a fun track around it!”
Mothers play a very important part in the film. Sonam continues, “Fawad (Khan, her co-star) and I are both very close to our mothers in the film. But while I have a friendly bond with mine, he has a more business-like relationship with his mother (Ratna Pathak Shah).”
She adds, “My mom calls me every two minutes to know what am I doing, how am I and all. She is a little clingy and even ruins my romantic moment with Fawad!”
