It isn’t common practice in Bollywood for stars not to have their names prominently written on their vanity vans. But things were done differently on the sets of Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do as the film’s actors got the names of their characters from the films denoting their vanity vans.
The multi-starrer features big names like Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah and Rahul Bose. For the entire cast to have their film names on the vans was unusual, except for Anil.
The 24 actor has worked in an international project Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol before and he said that his character name, Brij Nath, was put on his vanity van at the sets.
A source also suggests that it is a good technique to keep actors from falling out of character on the sets of the film. Well well, Zoya sure is going great lengths to make DDD a bigger success than Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara!
