We hear that the Gori Tere Pyaar Mein actor will be flying off to London the weekend on which her upcoming film hits the theatres
A little birdie tells us that Kareena Kapoor Khan won’t be in town on August 15, when her next alongside Ajay Devgn, Singham Returns is slated for release. Why, you ask? Well, the actress will be leaving for London on the evening of Independence Day, to bring in her husband, Saif Ali Khan’s birthday, who will turn 44 on August 16. The Nawab and Begum will enjoy a week long holiday, we hear.
Kareena told a daily, “Saif’s birthday is on August 16. I have planned a party for him in London where he has a lot of friends.” After celebrating Saif’s big day in London, the couple plans to fly off to Italy. The Heroine actress added, “Just in case Italy doesn’t materialise, we plan to go to France. Saif and I love spending quality time with each other. Bahut dinon se hum kahin bahar nahin gaye saath saath.”
But while vacationing abroad, Kareena plans to work as well. She will be taking three scripts along with her. She said, “I hope to zero down on one of them before I return from the second holiday.”
Saifeena are expected to return to India by the end of September. And as soon as they are back, they will start working on their next projects. While Saif, who was shooting in London for Kabir Khan’s Phantom will begin working with Reema Kagti’s melancholic love story, alongside Kangana Ranaut, Kareena will start with Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, with Salman Khan. The Singham Returns actress said, “I’d worked with Reema earlier in Talaash and Saif is wrapping up Phantom with Kabir. It’s a small world! We will have enough to discuss on the film front too.”
