5 films that Shahid Kapoor probably regrets doing!
We list down 5 films that wethinks Sasha should have avoided doing….
In an interview to a leading daily, Shahid Kapoor admitted that he regrets doing some of the films he did in the past. Though he didn’t reveal the names of the films, he said, “Yes, I do regret some choices I have made. But I wouldn’t ever talk about them or name those films.” Well, since we like the Kapoor lad as an actor, we decided to pen down his 5 films which wethinks disappointed not only us but also his fans….
Kismat Konnection: Shahid paired up for the first with Vidya Balan for this film.
What didn’t work: Though Sasha and Vidya had already established themselves as actors, in this film their chemistry just didn’t work. Also, it was Vids who was criticized more that too for her style statement than anything else.
Teri Meri Kahaani: After Kaminey, Shahid and Priyanka Chopra teamed up once again for this film.
What didn’t work: While Sasha-PC jodi was appreciated in Kaminey, the two failed to recreate the magic in this one mainly coz of the story which was set in three different eras. It failed to strike a chord with the audience and that’s the reason why Teri Meri Kahaani didn’t get cash registers jingling.
Milenge Milenge: After Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met, Shahid and his former flame Kareena Kapoor where seen together in Milenge Milenge.
What didn’t work: The lead pair started shooting for this film in 2004 but it released in 2010. The film faced a lot hurdles and ultimately tanked at box office. From marketing to storyline to music, nothing really worked in its favour.
Dil Bole Hadippa! : Shahid and Rani Mukerji’s first film together.
What didn’t work: Despite being a Yash Raj film, Shahid and Rani starrer turned out to be a flop coz of its not so great script and music.
Chance Pe Dance: For this film, the B-town hunk joined hands with Genelia D’Souza.
What didn’t work: Shahid showed off his sassy moves in this dance film but it didn’t save Chance Pe Dance from sinking at the BO. Neither music of the film nor the story worked with the masses.
