The Fukrey actor suddenly went missing from the music release of Sonali Cable
At the music release function of Sonali Cable on Thursday evening, the film’s leading man Ali Fazal was conspicuous by his absence.
Buzz doing the rounds was that after Bobby Jasoos, Ali Fazal didn’t want to be a tag-on in yet another heroine-oriented saga. “I mean after Bobby, Ali has to bear with Sonali taking centrestage. Bit too much, man. No wonder he fled,” said someone who claimed to be in the know.
As it turns out, the buzz is not always to be believed as Ali had to leave for Allahabad in a hurry because of a family tragedy. The actor explains, “My dadaji Mohd Fazal passed away. I had to leave for the last rites and burial.”
