After having being seen in movies like Paa, Sarkar and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, the father-son duo is being considered by director Milan Luthria for his next project. Read on to know more….
Milan Luthria’s film ,The Dirty Picture starring Vidya Balan, had become a sensation overnight for its bold plus daring pictography and concept. The director is now starting work on his next which is said to be a contemporary drama and is reportedly considering Big B and Junior B for the same.
A source revealed, “Milan is very keen on casting Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan for his next film. If things go well, he will start shooting from next year.”
If the Bachchan’s give a nod to the Once Upon A Time in Mumbai filmmaker, it will be Abhishek’s first film with Milan. Talking about the film, Milan said, “This film is not a biopic. It’s a contemporary drama. As far as starcast is concerned, I can’t comment on it right now. It’s too early to talk about it.”
Well we hope the father-son duo agree to work with the director. After all two Bachchans together, certainly make an appealing frame, what say peeps?
Trivia: Amitabh Bachchan has often taken inspiration from the late icon Robin Williams, for his roles. The first one was from Robin’s film Aladdin, a similar role essayed by Big B as Genius in the film Aladin starring Jacqueline Fernandez. The second one was from Jack, where Big B took inspiration from Robin’s role for his own in the film, Paa.
