The movie so far has failed to impress me and seems like a complete drag
Directed and produced by Anand Kumar, Desi Kattey teams veteran actor Suniel Shetty with Hate Story 2 fame, Jay Bhanushali and newcomer, Akhil Kapur. The action thriller is to release tomorrow (September 26) and is running a trial show at the moment.
Our reviewer Prateek Sur is watching the film right now and this is his first impression of the film…
Prateek says “Two village kids grow up in a neighbourhood where they sell desi guns. They slowly grow up to become local goons in the area. The state’s powerful gangster takes them under his wing and the two are very happy as that was their childhood dream. At some point, however, they get a chance to live a better life by participating in shooting competitions. Will they choose the better life or will they stick to their dream? We’ll find out…
Jay Bhanushali and Akhil Kapur aren’t impressive. Suniel Shetty has a very minimal role till now. Ashutosh Rana, however, stands out as a great performer. The direction is not just bad but pathetic. The songs are decent but the placement is not apt.
