Shweta Basu Prasad played the character of Shruti – the young daughter of Parvati Agarwal (Sakshi Tanwar) and Om Agarwal (Kiran Karmarkar) in Ekta Kapoor’s Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.The daily soap was a big hit and people loved Shweta as the little girl, both onscreen and off screen.
When queried about Shweta’s current situation, Kiran Karmarkar- her onscreen father said in an interview to a daily, “She was like my daughter. I wish she comes out of this problem soon.”
Shweta claims that dire need for money and circumstances compelled her to get into this line. The cops have placed her in a refuge home, where she will be staying for three months.
