Profile Ghulam Sarwar Khan, born on October 13, 1955 in Taxila, Punjab, has been elected as MNA on a PML(Q) seat. He has previously served as MPA Punjab Assembly for the terms of 1985-1988 and 1994-1996 and was affiliated with PPPP. An agriculturist by profession, he completed a B.A degree from University of the Punjab. He served as Provincial Minister for Health, Punjab during the period 1994-96. He is currently serving as Federal Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis. He has also been elected as a member of the Zakat Council from 1993-1994. Married, he has travelled to U.S.A, U.K, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Canada, South Africa and several countries within the European Union. His younger brother, Khan Muhammad Sadeeq Khan, was elected Nazim of Tehsil Taxila.
