Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ismail Darbar have worked together in super successful films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas. However, the two had a fallout and film industrywallas always referred to them as enemies. However, a few weeks back Ismail shot back at such comments and cleared the airs between the two, when he spoke in favour of SLB against Karan Johar.
The ace filmmaker has also reverted back the favour and decided to bridge the gap between the two. He recently visited the sets of Ismail Darbar’s debut directorial and wished the composer all the good luck. Talking to a leading daily Ismail confirmed, “He gave me a lot of blessings. Wherever there is love, fights are bound to happen. He also told me that he will come again. and that if I needed any help, he was always there. Sanjay is my godfather, and that’s a fact that can’t be changed. I am Ismail Darbar because of SLB. We share a special equation. At a time when no one could understand my music, he was the one who did. All issues have been resolved, but they might return whenever we work together. Our differences are purely on a creative level and not personal.”
So now it seems that the two are back to being buddies and we can expect the two to come together for Bajirao Mastani starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh!
