Mahira Khan to Sizzle with Ranveer Singh in her Bollywood Debut Movie
Pakistani VJ/model turned actor Mahira Khan who made her filmi debut in Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol, will now appear in Yash Raj’s untitled movie opposite Ranveer Singh.Mahira had been in India for last couple of weeks for some purpose and it is said that the two are likely to do a movie together. Khan made her acting debut in Hum TV serial Humsafar by playing the leading role. She then appeared in Neeyat, Shehr-e-Zaat. She has already gained International success after Humsafar which was not only a blockbuster hit in Pakistan, but also a huge success abroad. It gained immense popularity across the border too and caught the eye of many producers and directors. Mahira inked the contract with YRF (Yash Raj Films) but production house stopped her to give details to media about this project. She will go India next month for shooting. All details have been finalised. In conversation with Dunya News Mahira said,
Zee Zindagi is going to launch Humsafar soon in India and that make Mahira so happy. She is confident that it will help to show modest Pakistan’s face.
Once media asked her about dollar Indian film industry, she says she has no such aspirations.
“I don’t want to be a Bollywood star for sure because the kind of stardom that we get from Pakistan, I am very happy with that. So becoming a Bollywood actress is not something I am aspiring to do,” Mahira said. (to ab kia hua??)
