It was indeed a star studded affair that went on for about two days
It was a love-cum-arranged marriage for the popular telly actor Kratika Sengar, who was last seen in Punar Vivah and Nikitin Dheer (Chennai Express).
The alliance was arranged by Pankaj Dheer, when Kratika was shooting for his movie My Father God Father.
The couple got engaged last year and ever since then, they have been meeting and hanging around with each other. On Tuesday, (September 2, 2014) the couple had individual parties. Nikitin went out for brunch with his guy friends – the Khatron Ke Khiladi contestants, while Kratika was out celebrating her last day as a Sengar with the girls.
The sangeet happened in the evening where the entire gang from KKK5 – Salman Yusuf Khan, Gauahar Khan, Debina Bonnerjee, Gurmeet Choudhary, Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Sidhu, Rajniesh and Pallavi Duggal performed. Well they partied and danced all night. In fact, sometime later, Kratika sneaked out with her close friends for a drive in the city.
The wedding took place on Wednesday, with the bride and groom looking dazzling in their heavy bridal outfits. Nikitin later tweeted, “A nite made special by friends n family – feel happy n blessed – tomm a new chapter – a new journey begins with fire as the witness – pure n strong.” He then posted a photograph with Kratika and said, “It’s Official!”
