A local court in Islamabad on Saturday ordered police to register case against eleven prominent personalities including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a case pertaining to killing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers. Additional session judge Shahrukh Arjmand heard PTI’s petition regarding registration of case against killing of four party activists during clash with police on August 30. During case proceedings, PTI lawyer told court that Imran Khan, during his address on June 27 in Bahawalpur, formally announced to hold sit-in in Islamabad on August 14. The sit-in was staged after the government s permission. Later, protestors peacefully marched towards Red Zone on August 19 evening.
