Profile Riaz Fatyana, born on January 18, 1958 in Kamalia, Punjab, was elected MNA as a PML(Q) candidate. A psychologist by profession, Riaz Fatyana obtained B.A. Hons. Political Science and M.Sc. Applied Psychology degrees from University of the Punjab in 1979 and 1983 respectively, followed by an LL.B degree from University of Sindh in 1985. During his political career, Riaz Fatyana has been elected for 3 terms as Member of the Punjab Provincial Assembly for the terms 1988-1990, 1990-1993 and 1993-1996. He is currently Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for Human Rights. He has served as President of the Pakistan Psychologists Association and Senior Deputy Chief Commissioner of Pakistan Boy Scouts Association. He has also served as the Provincial Minister of Education Punjab. He is currently serving as a member of the Central Working Committee of PML(Q). Married with 2 sons and a daughter, his hobbies include travelling.
