Vishal-Shekhar have given music for both the magnum opus films. So we decided to pit them against each other and check as to which among the two do fans like more.

Vishal-Shekhar have been one of the most prominent music directors in the recent past, but of late their music has been tagged as repetitive. However, they are back again with two music albums to prove themselves to their fans. One is for the Siddharth Anand film Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, and the other being for the Farah Khan film Happy New Year starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Boman Irani. The music album of both the films are out and fans have been giving their verdict on the same.

We too decided to check out the music albums and have a say of our own. Bang Bang songs have brought the duo back in business. The songs in the high-on-action film seems to be slick and happening. Songs like Tu meri and Bang bang title track make you go wow, not just with Hrithik’s dance moves but also with the musical arrangement. Also there is a Meherbaan which oozes with melody and makes you feel even more loved.

Giving Bang Bang atough competition is the Happy New Year music album. The music is filled with peppy techno-beats songs. Songs like Indiawale are dance-worthy and Manwa laage is high on the romantic quotient. Lovely, Dance like a chammiya and Sharabi are simply foot-tappingly good and Kamlee totally rocks.

This is purely our personal take, but we would love to hear from fans as to which music of Vishal-Shekhar did they like more.
