While Sonam’s film is faring well in Pakistan, Parineeti’s Daawat-e-Ishq is far behind in the race
Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan’s Khoobsurat is struggling to impress the Indian audience, however, the film is doing extremely well in Pakistan. As per an entertainment portal, Khoobsurat produced by Anil Kapoor has collected more than Rs 10 million on its opening day while Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra’s Daawat-e-Ishq has minted only Rs 4 million.
International Multi Group of Companies Chairman Sheikh Amjad Rashid said to an entertainment portal, Khoobsurat has beaten all previous financial records. It is comparable with any big-budgeted Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan movie. It has done better business than Daawat-e-Ishq.”
With such a fabulous response to the film on its opening day, it is expected to do even better in the coming days as many shows have already been pre-booked. The last film that made humungous business in the neighboring country was Salman Khan’s Kick which made Rs 20.8 million in one day. We wonder if Sonam’s film will be able to beat the Dabangg Khan’s record in Pakistan.
