While many B-town stars are wanting to be a part of this plum project, Tiger wouldn’t do it even if he is offered
Ever since it was announced that Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty have joined hands for the remake of cult classic film, Ram Lakhan, the media circuit has been abuzz with rumours about the star cast of the movie. While we still don’t know who will be those two actors from B-town, who will play the character of Ram and Lakhan in the remake, but we certainly know who wouldn’t be a part of it.
And that who is Tiger Shroff. Yes, Tiger, who made a stellar debut with Heropanti this year wouldn’t like to be one of the two male leads in KJo and Rohit’s remake. So what makes him say no to such a plum project? Well, the actor doesn’t want any comparisons with his father Jackie Shroff, who played the character of Ram in the 1989 released Subhash Ghai film, that also starred Anil Kapoor as Lakhan and Madhuri Dixit-Nene as Radha.
Tiger was at the launch of his tribute video to Michael Jackson, where he was asked if he would take up Ram Lakhan remake if offered, given his father was in the original film. But to our surprise, he said, “I don’t think I would want to be a part of it. I don’t want any comparisons with my father. We are two different identities. What he has done, I don’t think I’ll be able to do it. I won’t be able to do justice to such a film.”
Hmmm. Quite surprising, isn’t it?
