Buzz suggests that the show was unable to grab viewer’s attention
Previously we had reported that Poonam Dhillon’s television show Ekk Nayi Pehchaan will soon be going off air. Now the latest show to be axed is Zee TV’s Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. The show starring Asha Negi and Kunal Verma has been unable to garner the audience’s attention.
Confirming the news actress Shilpa Shirodkar who plays Kamla Vitthal Jadhav in the show said to a leading daily, “Yes, it will be an abrupt ending. I’m sad and disappointed. We did the best we could to improve the ratings.” Almost a month back the makers of EMA had replaced the originals stars of the show Ashish Chowdhry and Rachana Parulkar with Asha and Karan. So is this sudden replacement a core reason for the dropping TRP’s? Shirodkar said, “It would be wrong to hold one person responsible. The new actors didn’t get enough time to establish themselves.”
