India’s rap badshah’s latest album and Hrithik-Katrina’s romantic song have become a hit

It’s Thursday. It’s Trending Tunes day. In this section, we bring you a list of 10 songs that have been topping the charts all this week. Take a look…

Tu Meri – Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s first romantic cum party number from Bang Bang is groovy and Jr Roshan shows off his effortless dance moves in this one. Katrina can be seen in a red-hot LBD shaking a leg with Hrithik, looking all chirpy and excited. We liked the mood of the song the most. The track composed by Vishal-Shekhar and crooned by Vishal Dadlani is groovy and full of energy and standing at #1 since last week, this number has become an instant hit amongst the masses.

Meherban - This track is composed by the rocking musical duo Vishal and Shekhar and has been crooned by Ash King, Shilpa Rao and Shekhar Ravijiani. The lyrics are by Anvita Dutt. The romantic number is shot at the scenic locations of Greece and Katrina looks nothing short of an ethereal beauty in the song. The Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik flaunts his chiselled body in the video and proves to be the hottest match for Kat in the song! The song is a new entry in our list and is at the #2 position.

Desi Kalakaar – The title track from Yo Yo Honey Singh manages to impress us with its cool vibe and the unique vocals of Singh as he vouches for his love played by Sonakshi Sinha. This song is already turning out to be quite a hit with the fans going gaga over the nearly 10 minute long story style music video. As far as the song is concerned, it stands at #3 spot on our list.

Abhi Toh Party - This is a promotional track shot for the film Khoobsurat and it features Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Khan and Ratna Pathak Shah. The song is set at a royal party where Prince Vikram (played by Fawad) enters with his date for the night, Mili (played by Sonam). But being a misfit to the core, Mili unleashes some madness on the party and makes it a rocking one! We like the rebellious rap by Badshah and also the hints of romantic chemistry between Sonam and Fawad in the video!

Ziddi Dil - This song from Priyanka Chopra’s recently released film, Mary Kom has been sung by Vishal Dadlani and composed by Shashi Suman. And we must say, Vishal’s voice is completely apt for this number. The music gives you a very motivational and strong feel. The lyrics have been penned Prashant Ingole and it goes perfectlly in sync with the song.

Samjhawan – Sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, Samjhawan from Alia Bhatt-Varun Dhawan starrer Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has been a favorite amongst the masses ever since it was released.

Ek Villain Mashup – There are very few films in which all the songs become hit. And Ek Villain is definitely one of them. Masses loved each and every number in Sidharth Malhotra-Shraddha Kapoor-Riteish Deshmukh starrer. And this is the reason why Ek Villain Mashup has been trending this week.

Indiawaale - Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, this number from Farah Khan’s upcoming film Happy New Year starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah has been sung by Vishal Dadlani, KK, Shankar Mahadevan and Neeti Mohan. While the music is good, what really stands out is the way Indiawaale has been shot. The part where all the actors are performing on the stage has been filmed beautifully that too on a grand scale.

Saawan Aaya Hai - Arijit Singh gives a tribute to the lovely monsoon with this romantic song from Creature 3D. Featured very beautifully on Bipasha Basu and Imran Abbas, this song is wrapped with a catchy melody. Written and composed by Tony Kakkar this song is one is a sure keeper as far as romantic songs go.

Yaar Na Miley – Sung by Jasmine Sandlas and composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, Yaar Na Miley is a unique melody with a swanky tune and catchy beats from Jacqueline Fernandez-Salman Khan’s Kick. You would just keep wanting to hear it again and again.
